The destruction of Korhal has awoken something within the Dominion more powerful than even the fortress it once was. A hunger for retribution has swept across every colonial hailing from the Dominion’s territories. Any expectations the expedition had of ending the war quickly were now but a distant memory as General Edmund Duke, the Defenders of Korhal, the Mengsk family and even the World itself became literal martyrs. Whatever hopes we had the Colonials changing sides to us after Arcturus Mengsk’s incriminating evidence on Tarsonis were basically swept aside by the UED’s involvement in the Throneworld’s destruction being more permeating. 

After the peace, the Dominion began to quickly rise again with the building of a massive economy. Due to its new holdings on the KMC border worlds, the indemnity paid by us and the secret wealth Marcus had within the Ellaryan Traverse, and the War between the Turian Hierarchy and the Salarian Union causing energy crisis on many systems, the Dominion began to establish a strong foothold on the Terminus and the Citadel markets. Emperor Mengsk especially profited from the shortages of food, energy and other necessities. Exactly 4 weeks after the War, the Dominion began putting a portion of their revenue into military spending once again. Fellow planets that chose to become independent during the war began joining the Dominion in hopes of contributing to the supranational superpower. 

By the 3 month of peace, the Dominion stood on equal economic, political, and military power as it was before the War. With its own massive oil, mineral, and agricultural resources, the United States managed to stay out of the Federation's influence, despite not being able to destroy the country. The Federation developed large financial, trade, manufacturing and corporate institutions to remain competitive against failing powers. Vast new infrastructure programs revolutionized the continent.

By 2027, the Federation undisputedly had the world's largest economy. The rest of the world remained dependent on the Western Hemisphere's resources and products. Numerous complexes such as the Freeport industrial center, the Atlas oil drilling platform, and the Shop development facility were erected. Beyond capital, the Federation developed a significant technological prowess. Additionally, major cities like Caracas, Rio De Janeiro, and Santiago completely rebuilt themselves.
