Hide and Seek Previs Animation Project

Hide and Seek Project overview The destruction of Korhal has awoken something within the Dominion more powerful than even the fortress it once was. A hunger for retribution has swept across every colonial hailing from the Dominion’s territories. Any expectations the expedition had of ending the war quickly were now but a distant memory as General Edmund Duke, the Defenders of Korhal, the Mengsk family and even the World itself became literal martyrs. Whatever hopes we had the Colonials changing sides to us after Arcturus Mengsk’s incriminating evidence on Tarsonis were basically swept aside by the UED’s involvement in the Throneworld’s destruction being more permeating.  After the peace, the Dominion began to quickly rise again with the building of a massive economy. Due to its new holdings on the KMC border worlds, the indemnity paid by us and the secret wealth Marcus had within the Ellaryan Traverse, and the War between the Turian Hierarchy and the Salarian Union causing energy c...

KIN Week 19 Highlights

Greetings, Here are the highlights of week 19 of this film: https://youtu.be/awvtlm_oK60 1.- From Sequence 100, shots 040 and 050 are almost in the final stage. Shot 050 needs some minor tweaking in regards when Harold holds the phone. Shot 040 need more work on the David, run and speed 2.- From Sequence 200, shots 010 and 030 and both close to finalized. Though shot 010 is still troublesome, the shot is better than it was weeks ago. The professor still suggested that I check the graph editor strongly and that I should at least work with the poses more as well as pointing many issues regarding the boy (David) 3.- I was allowed to finally work on Sequence 500, shots 030 and 040, both are on the early blocking stage. These will be difficult but not impossible because they involve the use of constraints to hold the hands free device.

KIN_Week 18 Higthlights

Greetings, This week has been very intensive regarding my assignments.  Shot 010 of sequence 200 continues to be a major hindrance. I believe that it would be best for me to practically restart my assignment on the later posing on that one. The run cycle is still good and has been re-timed Shot 050 from sequence 100 and shot 030 from sequence 200 are in my opinion ready and good to go to the next stage of the pipeline. The corrections for them were constant and well made. Shot 040 and 030 for Sequence 100 are well underway. The only issue that I still need to tackle is the climbing of David in 040. Shot 030 is still in rough blocking and will still need to be worked on. Here is the link to my shots done for the week. https://youtu.be/BT_6bY_Nz6o

Week 17 Highlights

Greetings, I am working regarding moving my shots to first pass Here is my progress: https://youtu.be/mqfnDAA-HYw 1.- From Sequence 100, shots 040 and 050 are finally on the first pass stage. Many changes were done. On 040, the Folder follows a more pleasant arc. The poses of shot 050 have been reduced as well. 2.- From Sequence 200, shots 010 and 030 and both close to finalized. I am still facing lots of issues regarding shot 010. Professor Tess provided help with on Monday regarding a more effective method of re-timing my animation. I focused more on Shot 030. 3.- Regarding sequence 500, I was told to put my work on it on hold until layout of it has been fixed

I am also uploading the reference of them for view. The professor has suggested that Harold (the father) be holding a folder while at work as he looks at David. 2.- From Sequence 200, shots 010 and 030 and both close to finalized. I am encountering lots of issues regarding shot 010. The professor suggested strongly that I should at least work with the poses more as well as pointing many issues regarding the boy (David) 3.- From Sequence 500, shots 030 and 040 are on the early blocking stage. These will be difficult but not impossible because they involve the use of constraints to hold the hands free device.
